Đội Quản lý thị trường số 1 (Chi cục Quản lý thị trường TP. Hà Nội) phát hiện và tạm giữ hơn 7.500 sản phẩm giày dép có dấu hiệu giả mạo nhãn hiệu ZARA tại cơ sở ở phường Phú Lương.

Specifically, implementing the directives of the Hanoi City People's Committee, the leadership of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, and the Hanoi Department of Market Management regarding the inspection and handling of acts of manufacturing, trading, and selling counterfeit goods and intellectual property (IP) infringements on e-commerce platforms, Market Management Team No. 1 assigned officers to carry out professional measures, especially on the e-commerce network environment, to detect signs of violation.

Concurrently, the team coordinated with the commune/ward police and the local Market Management Team to specifically verify the identity of the violating entity, the location for manufacturing and trading the infringing goods, and collaborated with the IP rights holder to identify signs of counterfeiting both online and in the actual products at the facility.

Through intelligence gathering, on October 27, Market Management Team No. 1 proceeded to inspect the business facility located at: Liền kề 6A-18, Đồng Đanh - Đồng Cộc Auction Area, Phu Luong Ward, Hanoi City. The facility is owned by Mr. Phan Huy Dung.

At the time of inspection, Mr. Phan Huy Dung was conducting business as a household business entity but failed to register the business as required by regulations. Notably, functional forces discovered a large quantity of goods at the facility showing signs of ZARA fashion trademark infringement.

Specifically, the seized goods included: 6,068 pairs of clogs; 1,203 pairs of sandals; and 239 pairs of shoes, all bearing the ZARA logo on the products and packaging. In total, there were 7,510 products. All of these products showing signs of ZARA trademark infringement were purchased by Mr. Phan Huy Dung from unverified (floating) sources in the domestic market to be sold via his personal Facebook social media page named "Phùng Sim".

Market Management Team No. 1 proceeded to draw up an inspection record and temporarily seize all infringing goods to verify and clarify Mr. Phan Huy Dung's specific violations and related circumstances, and to handle the case in accordance with the law.
